Gloria J. Lyons, 91, of Margate, NJ died Saturday, May 9, 2009 at her residence.
A longtime resident of Margate, Gloria was one of nine children born to George and Anna Mae Buzza Davis in Meadville on July 29, 1917. She married William R. Lyons and he preceded her in death December 22, 1989.
She worked 20 years as a Beauty School supervisor and 15 years in medical service support. She is survived by a sister, Ruth Zimmerman of Long Beach, CA and was preceded in death by her parents and 7 brothers and sisters.
A graveside Episcopal service will be Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Greendale Cemetery with interment to follow.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville.
