Grace E. Hosbach

Grace E. Hosbach, 93, formerly of Erie, and a resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community since April, 1971, died at City Hospital, Monday, March 18, 1985, after a period of failing health.

She was born at Freedom, Beaver County, August 15, 1891, a daughter of Charles and Margaret Yaeger Minke.  She married the Rev. Arthur B. Hosbach, April 26, 1921.  He died June 11, 1951.

She assisted her husband as church organist, choir director and Sunday School teacher, while he pastored various churches in Pennsylvania.

She was a member of Weis Library United Methodist Church, Fariview, and the Women's Christian Temperance Union.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Mary Conners, a resident of Wesbury and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Freedom.
