Grace S. Beatty

Grace S. Beatty, 69, died at Spencer Hospital, October 13, 1957 following a long illness.  She was the widow of LaVerne C. Beatty.

She was a life-long resident of Meadville.  A school teacher for 22 years, she recently retired from a teaching position at East End School.

She was a past president of the Young Women's Christian Assn. and a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Women's Assn. of the Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Vincent J. Pepicelli of Meadville; five sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Burns of Meadville, Mrs. Harry Geary of Hornell, NY, Miss Mabel Shults of Meadville, Mrs. Henry L. Catlin of Venango and Mrs. Neil Harden of Meadville; several nieces and nephews; and two grandsons, Mark and Alan Pepicelli.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
