Harold Albert Schutz

Harold Albert Schutz, 81, formerly of Meadville and Avon Park, FL, died Thursday, May 15, 1986, at Palma Nursing Home, Sebring, FL, after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Spartansburg, December 20, 1904, a son of Henry and Emma Anderhalt Schutz.  He married Gladys Newton October 3, 1934.

He was a meat cutter at the H and H Red and White, Saegertown, for 15 years and previously was employed by Erie Railroad for 10 years.  Prior to that, he was employed by Talon for 28 years.  He was a former member of the Twelve Apostles Lutheran Church, Saegertown.  He was a 1924 graduate of Meadville High School.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Robert of Morgantown, WV, John of Erie and Gary of Lutz, FL; one daughter, Mrs. Glen (Joan) Olsen of Edinboro; one brother, Paul Schutz of Meadville and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, John.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
