Harold E. Cannon

Harold E. Cannon, 69, of Meadville, died at his home, Wednesday, February 20, 1985, after a year's illness.

He was born at Salem Township, Mercer County, a son of Emory L. and Grace Watkins Cannon.  He married Martha Allison, who survives.

He was retired as a senior project engineer at Talon, Inc. after 40 years service.

He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and a former elder of the church; a member of Crawford Lodge #234, F and AM, Erie Consistory, BPOE Lodge 219, and Talon Management Club.

He was a graduate of Greenville public schools and attended Thiel College.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two daughters, Mrs. Jack (Donna) Lang and Mrs. Ron (Sue) Kilburn of Meadville; a son, Robert E. Cannon of Centerville, TN; a sister, Mrs. Eleanor Guffey, Decatur, GA; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Hadley Cemetery.
