Harriet Maude Pinches

Mrs. Harriet Maude Pinches, 80, formerly of Erie and a resident of the Methodist Home for the Aged since 1956, died Sunday morning, May 23, 1965, at City Hospital following a long illness.

A daughter of Charles and Hannah Metcalf, she was born at Sheffield, England, January 1, 1885.  She came to the United States in 1907 and was naturalized as a citizen in 1945 at Erie.  Her husband, Harry Pinches, whom she married October 11, 1907, preceded her in death.

Mrs. Pinches was a member of Kingsley Methodist Church, Erie.

There are no immediate survivors.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
