Hazel Georgia Neely

Hazel Georgia Neely, 77, a resident of Gowanda Nursing Home, Gowanda, NY died Tuesday, February 05, 2002 at Tri-County Hospital, Gowanda, NY.
She was born October 19, 1924 in Clarion Co., PA a daughter of Calvin and Dolly Curtis Neely.
She attended the former City Hospital’s School of Nursing and at one time worked at Talon, Inc. here in Meadville. She loved children and she enjoyed singing Christmas carols.
Survivors, include a brother, Rell Neely and his wife Virginia of Conneaut Lake; 7 nieces and nephews and 15 great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Merrill Neely, Ellis Neely and Delbert Neely.
A private family service will be Wednesday evening with the Rev. Timothy Solomon, Pastor of Emmanuel United Church of Christ, officiating.
Burial will be in Big Bend Cemetery, Emlenton, PA.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut St., Meadville, PA 16335.
