Hazel R. Boyd

Mrs. Hazel R. Boyd, 77, of Meadville, was dead on arrival late Tuesday, August 29, 1967, at City Hospital following a brief illness.

Mrs. Boyd was born on August 3, 1928, a daughter of Zachary and Elizabeth Siverling Stull.  She married Earl M. Boyd, who died in 1928.

Mrs. Boyd taught school in Woodcock Township during the early part of her life and was a housekeeper at Allegheny College from 1942 to 1959.  She was a member of Stone Methodist Church, and a graduate of Edinboro State Normal School.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Frederick P. (Thelma) Terrill of Guy Mills, Mrs. Frederick (Margaret) Bradley of Meadville and Mrs. Thomas R. (Laura) Huff of Saegertown; and four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  One son died previously.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Saegertown Cemetery.
