Hazel W. Sheakley

Mrs. Hazel W. Sheakley, of Meadville, died at City Hospital Saturday, June 18, 1977, after a long illness.  She had been hospitalized two weeks.

She was born in Guys Mills, a daughter of Frederick and Edith Faunce Wright.  She was the widow of Leonard D. Sheakley who died June 19, 1955.  Mrs. Sheakley was a member of the Charles N. Stafford American Legion Post Aux. and of the grange.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Walter (Dottie) Powell of West Middlesex and Mrs. William A. (Peggy) Cousins of Union City, MI; a son, Leonard J. (Speed) Sheakley of Chester, NJ; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
