Helen M. O'Donnell

Mrs. Helen M. O'Donnell, 82, formerly of Pittsburgh, widow of Paul D. O'Donnell, died after a long illness Saturday, December 29, 1979, at Peaceful Rest Home, Cochranton, where she had resided since April.

She was born in Chicago, IL, October 19, 1897, daughter of John and Ellen Carnahan O'Grady.  O'Donnell died July 7, 1965.

She was a member of St. Paul's Cathedral, Pittsburgh.  She graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, Pittsburgh, and had been employed as a registered nurse at Mercy Hospital, West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh, and at Pittsburgh Diagnostic Clinic, from which she retired in 1965.

Survivors include a son, Daniel J. O'Donnell of Conneautville and one grandson.

She was preceded in death by two sons.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.
