Helen M. Smith, 59, a resident of Meadville Care Center since September 1989, died Friday, March 30, 1990, at the center following an illness of a year.
She was born in Pittsburgh, January 4, 1931, a daughter of Michael and Helen Gregenda Galanda.
She formerly had been employed at Spaudlings Inc.
Survivors include a son, Edward M. Rodgers of Meadville; two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and five brothers.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
