Herbert A. Ditch
August 28, 1909 — January 7, 1982
Herbert A. Ditch, 72, of Meadville, died Thursday, January 7, 1982, at Spencer Hospital following a lengthy illness.
He was born at Meadville, August 28, 1909, a son of Emory and Alice Lozier Ditch. He married Edna Mook, June 20, 1946. She died August 30, 1970. He was employed in the inspection department of the former Meadville Malleable Iron, Co. before taking disability retirement.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda of Meadville; two sons, David W. of Meadville and Gary L. of Carnegie; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Stallard of Conneaut Lake and Mrs. Florence Harvey of Jamestown; a brother, Fred of Brunswick, OH; several nieces and nephews; and ten grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
