Herbert E. Osgood

Herbert E. Osgood, of Meadville, died suddenly at his residence last night.  He had been in failing health for several years.

A painter by trade, he had lived in Meadville for the past 40 years.  He was a member of Grace Methodist Church.

Survivors include his widow, a son, Philip of Baltimore, four nieces and a sister-in-law.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Hope Cemetery, Wellsburg, Erie County.
