Herman J. Burkhardt

Herman J. Burkhardt, 86, of Meadville, died at 2:30 a.m. Satruday, February 23, 1963, at Smith Institute, Saegertown, after a long illness.
He was born in Meadville December 21, 1876, a son of Albert and Sophia Ott Burkhardt, and married Margaret Schutz, on May 2, 1901. He was a retired machinist and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his widow; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Bender and Mrs. Anna Hazelhurst, both of Meadville; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
