Hibbard L. (Tim) Tyler, Jr.

Hibbard L. (Tim) Tyler, Jr., 53, of Guys Mills, died Sunday, May 8, 1977, at Roswell Park Memorial Institute, Buffalo, after a four-year illness.

Born in Youngstown, July 5, 1923, he was a son of Hibbard L. and Mary Streb Tyler, Sr.  He married Bertha Jones, July 5, 1946.  Employed by the former Erie Lackawanna Railway CO. for 25 years as a conductor, he took disability retirement in 1975.  He was a veteran of World War II serving in the US Army.

In addition to his widow, survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lloyd (Karen) Shorts of Guys Mills; a son, Terry Tyler of Guys Mills; his mother of Youngstown; three sisters, Mrs. Betty Johnson and Mrs. Sally Novotny of Youngstown, Mrs. Irene Waid of Peninsula, OH and three grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Massillon Cemetery, Massillon, OH.
