Ida L. Seymour, 80, of Cordia Commons, Meadville, died at Meadville Medical Center, Wednesday, June 16, 2004.

She was born in Wrightsville, Warren, Co., PA, January 4, 1924, a daughter of Edward & Cora Little Scandreth.  She married Merle A. Seymour, Aug. 30, 1947, and he died March 6, 1988.

She retired in 1986 from New Process Co., Warren, as a processing clerk.

She was a 1943 graduate of Warren High school and she enjoyed reading, cross-work puzzles, and traveling.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Sandra Paden and her husband Joseph of Meadville and Karen Seymour and her husband Robert Blood of Concord, NC; 2 sons, Richard J. Seymour and his partner Russell Rogers of Manville, NJ and Thomas M. Seymour of Warren; 2 granddaughters, Wendy Lynch and her husband Stephen of Meadville and Stacy Sommers of Meadville, 2 step-grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, Tyler, Kyle, & Nicholas Lynch, 3 step-great grandchildren, 3 sisters, Ina Lonkowske of Hadley, Ira Retterer of Mercer and Ina Clover of Kelletville, 1 brother, Robert Scandreth of Warren and nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by 1 great grandson, Baby Boy Lynch, 2 sisters, Ila Anderson and Ima Scandreth and 2 brothers, Richard and Silas Scandreth.

Calling hours will be Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut St., Meadville.

The funeral and committal service will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Michael Marshall, pastor, of Allegheny Wesleyan Methodist Church, Greenville, officiating.

Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Russell.
