Ida Mae Trainer
October 14, 1887 — October 29, 1978
Mrs. Ida Mae Trainer, 91, widow of Howard Trainer and a longtime McKees Rocks resident, died Sunday, October 29, 1978, at Peaceful Rest Home, Cochranton, following an extended illness.
Born at Rochester, Beaver County, October 14, 1887, she was a daughter of George and Kate Ellis Chambers. Her husband died in 1910. She served as a photographic assistant at Mahan and Wright Photographic Studio, McKees Rocks, for many years. She was a 1917 graduate of the former St. Rosalia Hospital School of Nursing, Pittsburgh.
Survivors include a son, Jack H. of Saegertown; a sister, Mrs. Marquerite Brown of Long Beach, CA; two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Mt. Royal Cemetery, Pittsburgh.
