Inez Mae Fenton

Mrs. Inez Mae Fenton, 90, a resident of the Methodist Home for the Aged, died there Friday, March 20, 1970, after an illness of two months.

She was born at Dicksonburg, Crawford County, March 10, 1880, a daughter of W. Henry and Eva Proctor Zimmerman.  She was first married in 1902 to Dr. Frank Ellis, a Sharon optometrist, who died in 1913.  On August 4, 1915, she married the Rev. William H. Fenton who died in 1940.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Sharon and its WSCS.

Mrs. Fenton was a graduate of Edinboro State Normal School.  She received diplomas from Northern Illinois College of Ophthalmology and from Hydro-Massage School at Kearney, NE.

Surviving are one son, Wayne B. Ellis of Sharon; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in East Springfield Cemetery.
