Ira Sikes

Ira Sikes, 88, a native of Randolph Township, died Thursday morning at a rest home in Altoona.  He had resided in that city the past five years.

Mr. Sikes early years were spent in Randolph Township and later he lived in Cochranton and Meadville.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Gibboney of Altoona; two sons, James and Ellis P. Sikes of Meadville; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
