Irene Mallory Brown

Mrs. Irene Mallory Brown, 84, of Meadville, died Tuesday, October 29, 1963, at City Hospital following a brief illness.  She had been making her home with a grandson and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis H. Brown, who lives near Coons Corners.

Mrs. Brown was born at Union City December 25, 1878, a daughter of Lewis and Martha E. Bacon Mallory, and married George Lannus (Lant) Brown.  He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Brown was a member of Hamlin Chapel Methodist Church, Coons Corners, and previously had been a domestic employee.

Surviving, in addition to the grandson, are a daughter, Mrs. Walter (Martha) Snyder of Greenville; three sons, Earl Brown of Greenville, Gilbert Brown of Meadville and Andrew Brown of Florida; 13 other grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Service were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Saegertown Cemetery.
