Irene V. Whiting
May 10, 1887 — September 9, 1964
Mrs. Irene V. Whiting, 77, of Meadville, wife of Louis E. Whiting, died at Spencer Hospital Wednesday, September 9, 1964, after a long illness.
She was born at Ridgway, May 10, 1887, a daughter of Alaric and Takla Lindgren Lindhome.
Mrs. Whiting was a member of Stone Methodist Church and its Women's Society of Christian Service; and a member of Meadville Woman's Club.
She is survived by her husband, whom she married June 18, 1910; a daughter, Miss Elizabeth Whiting at home; a son, Gifford E. of Jamestown, NY; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Adamson of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Alta Barwin of Dayton, OH; a brother, Otto H. Londhome of Kane; a grandson, Charles E. Whiting of Jamestown, NY and several nephews.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
