Irma L. Armburger

Irma L. Armburger, 83, formerly of 20270 Homecroft Rd., Meadville and a resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community since 2009, passed away there Sunday, October 25, 2015.

She was born December 20, 1931 in Randolph Township, Crawford County, a daughter of Clyde and Helena Robb Armburger.

Irma was a 1949 graduate of Randolph High School.  She was employed for 41 years at the Farm Credit Association, Meadville and retired in 1989 as office manager.

Irma was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and enjoyed traveling and gardening.

Survivors include a sister, L. Jean Schlosser of Cochranton and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Florence Hunt, Elnora Fausnaught, Marian Armburger, and Gladys Welsh; four brothers, Lawrence, Donald, Willard, and Lyle Armburger; and an uncle and aunt, Howard and Annie Dupont.

Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville where the funeral and committal service will follow at 6:00 p.m. with the Rev. Philip Torre officiating.

Interment will be in Black Ash Cemetery.
