Ivan Dickson Drake

Ivan Dickson Drake, 65, of Saegertown, died Wednesday evening, January 2, 1963, at Spencer Hospital after a long illness.

He was born at Blooming Valley, November 21, 1897, a son of Forest and Margaret Dickson Drake.  He married Helen Wimmer August 3, 1927.

Mr. Drake had been employed for 16 years by the Harley Carpenter Electric Co., later becoming a grocery store operator for 10 years.  He retired eight years ago from the American Brake Shoe Co. after seven years employment.  He was a member of Stone Methodist Church.

Surviving are his widow; two sisters, Mrs. Paul Wolff of Meadville and Pompano Beach, FL; and Mrs. Betty Green of Vero Beach, FL; two aunts and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
