J. Hunter Lesueur

J. Hunter LeSueur, 80, of Meadville, a former Talon worker, died Thursday, August 6, 1992, at Wesbury United Methodist Community following an extended illness.

He was born in Erie, July 8, 1912, a son of Peter and Muriel Hunter Watts LeSueur.  He married Virginia Tucker, June 10, 1939.  She survives.

He was employed at Talon from 1934 to 1977, working in Erie, Meadville and Hamden, CT/  He was a member of Christ Church Episcopal, and had served on the church vestry and was a former choir member.  A 1930 graduate of Erie Central High School, he also graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1934.  He was a member and former secretary of the Round Table.

Survivors include his wife; a son, J. Hunter LeSueur of Durham, NC; a daughter, Mrs. Ernest (Jill) York of Bowie MD and two grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
