James A. Matsko, Sr., age 81, of Jamestown, PA passed away Tuesday morning May 7, 2024 in UPMC Hamot, Erie. He was born in Phillipsburg, PA on December 12, 1942 a son of Joseph and Mary (Matella) Matsko. He was a 1961 graduate of Phillipsburg High School and served his country in the United States Navy. On June 12, 1968 James married the former Marylou Parsons, she survives. He was the owner/operator of Northeast TV Antenna Service for 36 years. James was proud that he received his CDL later in life. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and playing his guitar. In addition to his wife of 55 years, he is survived by a son, James A. Matsko, Jr. and his wife Martha of Chapin, SC; a daughter, Carmelia Matsko of Meadville; two grandchildren, Nicholas Matsko and Jessicca Matsko; a great granddaughter, Nadia Matsko; three sisters and a brother also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, his twin brother Arthur J. Matsko, and six other siblings. SERVICES: Cremation was chosen and there will be no services.
