James B. Gifford
August 19, 1897 — July 17, 1982
James B. Gifford, 84, a resident of United Methodist Home and Hospital, died at the home July 17, 1982, after a long period of failing health.
He was born in East Springfield, Erie County, August 19, 1897, a son of Henry and Deborah Nash Gifford.
Mr. Gifford was a resident of Erie until 1979, and worked at General Electric in Erie until his retirement.
He was a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church, Erie, and a member of Commonwealth Lodge 695, F and AM.
He is survived by his wife, Olivia, who resides at United Methodist Home and one cousin.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
