James F. Muir
March 3, 1921 — May 31, 1991
James F. Muir, 70, of Meadville, a laborer, died at his residence Friday, May 31, 1991, after a brief illness.
He was born in Sharon, March 3, 1921, a son of George L. and Bessie Maude Scragg Muir. He married Jean McKelvey in 1967. She survives.
He retired as a laborer for the Erie-Lackawanna Railroad. He was a member of Stone United Methodist Church and a member of Odd Fellows Cussewago Lodge 108.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a two brothers, Dr. Robert D. Muir and Dr. William H. Muir.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
