James H. Getty
September 3, 1914 — November 30, 1982
James H. Getty, 68, of Saegertown, died at Hamot Medical Center, Erie, Tuesday, November 30, 1982, after a six-week illness.
He was born at Pittsburgh, September 3, 1914, a son of William and Eliza Willetts Getty. He married Leora Maloney June 27, 1941.
A self-employed building contractor, he retired in 1976.
Mr. Getty was a member of 12 Apostles Lutheran Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. David (Alice) Dalmaso of Franklin; two sons, James O. of Scottsdale, AZ and Richard E. of Saegertown; a sister, Mrs. Willard (Gladys) Rhodes of Decatur, TX and two brothers, Wilbur of Saegertown and William of Conneaut Lake. A sister preceded him in death.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Saegertown Cemetery.
