Jane L. Cross, 79, of 572 Chestnut St. Meadville, died Sat. Nov. 8, 2003.
She was born in Meadville, Nov. 18, 1923, a daughter of Vito & Jennie Grippi Lapuma. She married C. Robert Cross June 2, 1968 and he preceded her in death Nov. 8, 1997.
She had been employed as the manager of Lapuma’s Restaurant.
Survivors include 1 sister, Nancy L. Barco of Meadville; 3 brothers, Samuel Lapuma and his wife Carmella, Frank Lapuma, and Joseph Lapuma all of Meadville; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by 4 sisters, Frances L. Miceli, Josephine Albano, Mary L. Headland, and Lee Albano.
There are no calling hours.
The funeral service is today (Tuesday) at 11:00 a.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc. 581 Chestnut St., Meadville with the Rev. Mark Hoffman, pastor of St. Mary of Grace Roman Catholic Church, officiating.
Burial will be in St. Brigid Cemetery.
