Janice L. Jacklett

Janice L. Jacklett, age 84, of Guys Mills, passed away on Friday evening, May 22, 2026, in Titusville Area Hospital.

She was born in Butler on May 16, 1942, the daughter of Lester and Dorothy (Boyle) Lewis.

Janice was a 1960 graduate of Randolph East Mead High School and was employed as a Switch Board Operator and receptionist at Meadville Medical Center.

On January 30, 1988, she married Jack Jacklett, he passed away on July 10, 2019.

Jan loved to bake. She once said she was happiest when she was making a mess in her kitchen. She also loved to sew, knit, and crochet, especially for family and friends. As a young wife and mother, she lived for a number of years in England and for a short time in Cyprus.

She is survived by a son, Jay Lazorishak of Parker, CO; a daughter- in -law, Christine Lazorishak; three sisters, Sarah Rollick and her husband Dave of St. Mary’s, Nora Lewis of Titusville, Bath Thompson of Pittsburgh; five grandchildren, Jason, Yvonne, Eric, Elena, Karina; four great-grandchildren, Caden, Draven, Nadia, Nikolai; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son Brian Lazorishak, five brothers Jim Lewis, Gordon Lewis, Robert Lewis, David Lewis, Rick Lewis, two sisters Nancy Shaw and Bonnie Pollard.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, May 29, 2026, in ROSE AND WAID FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, INC., 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE from 12:00PM until the time of service. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026, at 2:00PM in the funeral home.

Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
