Jaysen Scott Walters

Jaysen S. Walters, age 23, of Guys Mills died Monday morning, August 3, 2026, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

He was born in Meadville on April 2, 2003, the son of Phillip and Alecia (Walters) Palmer.

Jaysen was a 2022 graduate of Maplewood High School. He was a correction officer and was employed with the Crawford County Correction Facility. Jaysen was a member of First Christian Church in Meadville.

He was a die-hard Seahawks football fan. Jaysen loved his family and had a very good loving heart.

Survivors include his parents, Phillip and Alecia Palmer of Guys Mills, eight siblings; Tierney, Jaythan, Jayxon, Taelyn, Kiersten, Jalisa, Mariyah, and Kimberlee, maternal grandmother Lori Walters (Joe), maternal great-grandmother Marilyn Turner, maternal grandfather Ray Walters, Sr. (Laura), and maternal step-grandmother Marilyn Waugh.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfather Kenneth Farnham, maternal great grandmother Lois Hummer, paternal grandfather Phillip Palmer, Sr., and uncle Ray Walters, Jr.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 4:00-7:00 PM in ROSE AND WAID FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, INC., 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 1100 AM in the Funeral Home with Pastor Robert McGuire, officiating.
