Jeffrey H. Mott

Jeffrey H. Mott, 54, of Conneaut Lake, died unexpectedly, Friday, October 3, 2014 at St. Vincent Hospital, Erie,

He was born in New Castle May 12, 1960 a son of W. Harold and Lillian Ream Mott.  He married Kathy Ingraham September 17, 1983 and she survives.

He was a 1979 graduate of Union Area High School, New Castle.  After graduation he moved to the Conneaut Lake area and first worked for Utility Constructors of Linesville then with his uncles Jack, Fred and Jay Ream at Associated Contractors.  He then joined Laborers Local 964 of New Castle.

He was an avid sportsman, enjoying the outdoors, hunting, fishing and spending time at the family hunting camp in Tionesta.  He was also a volunteer fireman with the Conneaut Lake Park Vol. Fire Dept.  He was very connected with his extended family and enjoyed all the family holidays and reunions.

Survivors, in addition to his wife Kathy of 31 years include: a daughter, Courteney Rae Mott of Conneaut Lake; two sons, Adam Jeffrey Mott and Jared Alexander Mott both of Conneaut Lake; his parents, W. Harold and Lillian Mott of New Castle; a brother, Jim Mott and his wife Donna of New Castle; his mother-in-law, Helen Ingraham of Townville and all of his extended family including, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Raymond Ingraham.

Calling hours will be Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, Inc., 12422 Conneaut Lake Road, Conneaut Lake.
