Utica, PA

Jeffrey R. King, French Creek Township, Utica, Pa passed away peacefully of natural causes at 6:58 pm, Sunday, 8-24-25 in Allegheny General Hospital. He was 62.

Born May 26, 1963 in Franklin, PA, he was a son of Cecil B. and Etta R. Miller King. He attended Franklin High School. Jeff was a farmer at heart and worked many years at farms in the area. He liked dealing with animals and enjoyed raising livestock at home. He was also known to drop whatever he was doing to go and lend a hand to others who needed help with something and he would stay until the job was finished. As a lover of the outdoors, Jeff enjoyed going into the woods and calling in a turkey and then watch him walk away after he came in, to Jeff it wasn’t about bringing home the game, but the pure enjoyment of nature and the hunt. He enjoyed a good deer hunt and he shared his love of hunting and the outdoors with many young folks he would take into the woods to help them to develop the skills to be future hunters.

Jeff married Susan M. Haller on June 19, 1997 and she survives at home.

He is also survived by six children, David, Mike and Wendy Love, Mike and Anthony Marshall and April Kosslow; four grandchildren: Sydney and Cameron Marshall and Colton and Cora Kosslow. Also surviving are four siblings: Alan King, Rebecca (John) Morrow, Scott King and Bill (Martha) King along with many loving nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Leonard King, Shirley Reagle and Roger King.
