Jennie Van Camp Burchard

Mrs. Jennie Van Camp Burchard, 83, of Guys Mills, widow of E. S. Burchard, died Sunday, January 7, 1951 at Spencer Hospital following a long illness.

Mrs. Burchard was a teacher in Townville and Cochranton area public schools for many years.  She was active in Guys Mills Congregational Church for 40 years and a member of Randolph Grange.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Wilma Griffith of Guys Mills; five sons, Walter, Charles and Harry, all of Guys Mills, Willard of Cumberland, MD and Karl of Tucson, AZ; seventeen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
