Jessie V. Slagle
August 25, 1884 — January 19, 1961
Miss Jessie V. Slagle, 76, formerly of Bruin, died at City Hospital Thursday morning, January 19, 1961, after a short illness. She had been a resident of the Methodist Home, North Park Avenue, since December 16, 1959.
Miss Slagle was born in Parker Township, Butler County, August 25, 1884, a daughter of Frank and Sara Jane Frederick Slagle.
After her retirement as a clerk at the O.C. Myers & Son store in Bruin, she lived at the home of a sister in Erie.
Her sister, Mrs. Robert J. Caldwell of Erie and several nieces and nephews survive.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Allegheny Cemetery, Parker.
