John F. Wolfe
December 1, 1906 — March 18, 1989
John F. Wolfe, 82, of Saegertown, died Saturday, March 18, 1989, at his residence following an extended illness.
He was born in Clarion, December 1, 1906, a son of John H. and Inaz Saylor Wolfe. He married Alma M. Cunningham on August 5, 1989. She preceded him in death on April 4, 1986. She was self-employed as an auto body repair specialist and previously employed at several area car dealerships. He graduated from the former Clarion State Normal School.
Survivors include two grandsons, John S. Wampler of Saegertown and Eric B. Wampler of St. Petersburg, FL.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Delores Wampler and four brothers, Norman, Clarence, Roland and Theodore Wolfe.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
