John Gasper, Sr.

John Gasper, Sr., 82, of Guys Mills, died Saturday, February 22, 1964, at the Flickinger Convalescent Home after a long illness.
He was born in Czechoslovakia, June 5, 1881. He married Mary Zayac in January 1910. She died June 7, 1961. He was a retired farmer and was a member of the Slovak Lodge of Sharon.
Surviving are four children, Mrs. Mary Mital of Belt, Mont., and Mrs. Joseph (Sue) Ploski, Mrs. Mike (Anna) Kaputa and John Gasper, Jr., all of Guys Mills; eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
