John H. Niles

John H. Niles, 63, formerly of Kerrtown, died Saturday morning at Warren State Hospital after an illness of five years.

A machinist, he was employed at Phoenix Iron Works and later by Pennsylvania State Highway Department and Allegheny College maintenance department.

He was a son of the late Fred and Louisa Smallenberger Niles and spent his entire life before his illness in the Meadville area.

He was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed Church, Meadville FO Eagles and Italian Civic Club.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. D. E. Eastlake of Meadville; a brother, Elon H. Niles of East Cleveland and a nephew, Charles L. Niles of Niagara Falls, NY.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
