John E. Hazen

John E. Hazen, age 69, of Conneaut Lake, passed away Monday afternoon, May 18, 2026, in Allegheny General, Pittsburgh.

He was born in Geneva, PA on January 16, 1957, the son of James M. and Margaret (Bush) Hazen.

He was a trucker driver for many years. John enjoyed hunting, camping and sitting by the fire, boating, antique cars, and watching westerns.

He is survived by his fiancé of 21 years, Roberta Hornbeck of Conneaut Lake; two sons, John Hazen and his wife Mindy of Hartstown, Jason Hazen and his wife Danielle of Andover, OH; two daughters, Carey Conrad of Meadville, Erishea Reese and her fiancé DJ of Conneaut Lake; a sister, Sara Erven and her husband Don of Eat Springfield, PA; a brother, Thomas Hazen and his fiancé Christy Young of Greenville; 13 grandchildren, Breonna, Paige, Cameron, Carleigh, June, Nora, Coraline, Brandon, Oakley, Addilynn, Aubrey, Jaxon, and Koleton and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers James Hazen and Robert Hazen, two sisters Barbara Hazen and Mary Lou Christy.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2026, from 3:00PM- 7:00PM at the Conneaut Lake Sportsman's Club, 11861 Sportsman Rd, Conneaut Lake, PA 16316. ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN ENTRUSTED TO ROSE AND WAID FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, INC., 12422 CONNEAUT LAKE RD., CONNEAUT LAKE.
