John F. Wilson

John F. Wilson, Perry Twp., Hadley, PA, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Meadville Medical Center of natural causes. He was 90.

Born August 22, 1935 in Apollo, Pa, he was a son of Samuel H. and Frances M. Garris Wilson.

John was a 1954 Graduate of Conneaut Lake High School and then enlisted in The United States Air Force and served from 1954 to 1958 when he was honorably discharged.

He began working at GTI (now CIT) in Hadley for over 37 years and retired as a Supervisor in 1997.

He was of the Protestant faith.

John loved gardening and farming and especially loved woodworking. His family was very important to him and he enjoyed spending time with them.

John married Karen M. Palm on June 27, 1981 and she survives at home.

Also surviving are a daughter Tammy (Gerald) Ricci of Florida along with three grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister Velma Aschenbach of Meadville, Pa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Sheryl Tatum, a sister Edna Wilson and a brother Samuel Wilson.

Per John’s request there will be no services.
