Joie Cooper

Mrs. Joie Cooper, 91, of Guys Mills, widow of C. Lee Cooper, died at Mead Nursing Home, Monday, December 28, 1981, following an extended illness.
Mrs. Cooper was born at Mt. Hope, Randolph Township, October 13, 1890, a daughter of Frank and Jane Murdoch Smith. She married Mr. Cooper May 5, 1910. He died December 8, 1966.
She was a member of the United Church of Guys Mills.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Archie (Dorothy) Sliter of Guys Mills; a grandchild and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and six brothers.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
