Joseph Robert Zimmerman

Joseph Robert Zimmerman, 51, of Erie and formerly of Meadville, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Greenfield Healthcare in Erie following a period of declining health.

He was born September 13, 1972 in Erie, a son of Steven Zimmerman and Pamela Sumner Walzer. Survivors include his sister, Jennifer Morton of Erie; brothers, Kenneth Sumner, Charles Zimmerman, James Walzer, and Dale Zimmerman; father, Steven Zimmerman (Carole) of Meadville; and aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents.

A celebration of Joe’s life will be held at a future date.
