Josephine Barr Carrier

Mrs. Josephine Barr Carrier, 78, a resident of The Methodist Home for the Aged, died at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday, September 2, 1958, at City Hospital following a short illness.

She was the widow of Frank Carrier.

She was born May 29, 1880, at Scotch Hill, Clarion County, a daughter of Henry C. and Catherine Sharrow Barr.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Nora Jones of Erie and Mrs. Grace Myers of Wilkinsburg; two brothers, the Rev. Dr. Harry H. Barr of Warren and John Barr of Corsica.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Summerhill Cemetery.
