June 29, 1883 — November 5, 1958
Mrs. June Beatrice Smith, 75, wife of Forrest E. Smith of Blooming Valley, died Wednesday, November 5, 1958, at City Hospital where she had been a patient ten days.
She was born June 29, 1883, a daughter of Orlando and Mary King Waid, in Woodcock Township. She was married to Smith September 21, 1898.
The Smiths operated a grocery store at Blooming Valley seventeen years and before that were engaged in farming.
She was a member of Blooming Valley Methodist Church.
Surviving, besides her husband, are a daughter, Mrs. Elsie Vivian of Blooming Valley, with whom the Smiths lived; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
