Katherine E. Bain

Mrs. Katherine E. Bain, of Meadville, died at her home Saturday, May 8, 1937 after an extended illness.

A former home missionary worker with the Methodist Episcopal Church Board of Home Missions, Mrs. Bain was known extensively in the denomination.  She served missions in Buffalo, Troy, Rochester, and Niagara Falls, NY and Philadelphia, among others.  In recent years she had served as superintendent of the junior high school department at the Stone Church Sunday School and as a director of recreational activities of the church.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
