Kathryn Lynn Woodcock

Kathryn Lynn Woodcock, age 70, of Guys Mills went home peacefully to the Lord on Saturday afternoon August 1, 2026, in her residence with family by her side.

She was born in Miles, MI on June 10, 1956, a daughter of Thomas and Donna (Davis) Turner.

She was a graduate 1975 graduate of Linesville High School and was employed as a nurse’s aide for Wesbury, Crawford County Care Center, Juniper Village and taught head start and preschool for Penncrest School District.

She met her husband John on a blind date as a joke, and it backfired because it was love at first sight. A year later, April 9, 1983, they were married.

Kathryn was a member of Wayland Baptist Church for 30 years, then joined the United Evangelical Free Church of Guys Mills for the last five years.

She enjoyed gardening, taking pictures, Halloween, Christmas, avid Cleveland Browns, Indians, and Cavaliers fan. Kathryn also enjoyed watching Nascar and attending races.

In addition to her husband of 43 years, she is survived by two daughters, Nicole Marie Woodcock and Jennifer Ann Woodcock; two grandsons, Bobby Myers and Dominic Myers; four sisters, Cindy Young, Anna McGee, Debby Protasio, and Rose Mascitti; two brothers, Tim Turner and Dan Turner and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant twin daughter Jessica Lynn Woodcock.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, from 10:00 AM until the time of service in United Evangelical Free Church 11537 PA-198 Guys Mills. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 1100 AM in the church with Rev. William Cox, officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to ROSE AND WAID FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, INC., 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE.

Burial will be in Wayland Cemetery.
