Kathryne A. Bird

Mrs. Kathryne A. Bird, 81, postmaster at Guys Mills for 20 years unitl her retirement in 1955, died suddenly Tuesday, September 26, 1967, at Mease Hospital, Dunedin, FL, following a heart attack.  She had lived at Palm Harbor, FL, for the past seven years.

A daughter of Frank L. and DeLila Russell Bunting, she was born at Townville December 26, 1885.  Her husband, David F. Bird, Sr., whom she married December 18, 1912, died in 1955.

Mrs. Bird was a member of the United Church of Guys Mills.

She is survived by a son, David F. Bird, Jr. of Guys Mills; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  A daughter preceded her in death.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
