Kenneth LaVern Dunlap

Kenneth “Kenny” L. Dunlap, 77, of Polk, passed away peacefully at UPMC Northwest on May 28, 2025. Kenny was born to Winfred and Mable Dunlap on January 11, 1948, in Franklin. Kenny worked as a maintenance and carpentry worker at Polk Center for over 30 years.

Kenny married the love of his life, Rhonda Dunlap, on February 13, 1970. She preceded him in death on November 21, 2021.

Kenny enjoyed being outside whether it was camping or blazing down the trails on his four-wheeler. He loved where he worked and what he did. Kenny was always one for a dinner out at his favorite restaurant. He also never skipped out on having the best of the best in vehicles.

Kenny is survived by his sister, Bonnie Gingerich; his brother-in-law, Randall (Cindy) Michael; Randall’s brother, Rich (Michelle) Michael; and Kenny’s best friend, Alan (Kathy) Doutt.

Kenny is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and his brother, Paul Ray.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 99 Franklin St. Stoneboro, PA 16153. As per Kenny’s wishes there will be no services.
