Kenneth K. Kent, 65, formerly of Guys Mills, now a resident of Lawrenceville, IL since 1973, died at his home in Lawrenceville Saturday, August 9, 1980, after a sudden illness.
He was born in Erie County on March 7, 1915, a son of Melvin S. and Charlotte M. Smith Kent.
He was last employed as operator of a grocery store in Indianapolis before moving to Lawrenceville. He was a US Army veteran, having served in World War II and the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Clarence (Nora) Root of Erie; one brother, Walter of Guys Mills; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Radle Cemetery.
