Kenneth M. Ortman, 64, of Meadville, a retired businessman, died Wednesday, July 10, 1991, at Wesbury United Methodist Community following an extended illness.
He was born in Meadville, February 22, 1927, a son of Charles H. and Alice B. Flaugh Ortman. He married Elizabeth (Betty) Aldrich September 18, 1954. She survives.
He was associated in the business of Ortman-Reitze Contractors all of his working life, retiring in 1978. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Meadville, a graduate of Fort Union Academy and attended Purdue University. He served two years in the US Army during the Korean conflict.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two daughters, Mrs. William (Alice) Kusen of Pennberry Village and Rebecca Ortman at home; a son, Scott S. Ortman of Tarentum; a niece, several nephews and a granddaughter. He was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley O'Nan.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
